Decameron Collective
The Decameron Collective is a group of nine interdisciplinary scholars and artists from Canada (Jolene Armstrong, Kelly Egan, Lai-Tze Fan, Caitlin Fisher, Angela Joosse, Kari Maaren, Siobhan O’Flynn, Izabella Pruska-Oldenhof, Monique Tschofen). In March of 2020, as the world was entering lockdown, we began a weekly practice of collaborating, co-creating, and curating. Together, we have built and exhibited two digital storyworlds, Decameron 2.0 (WebGL, 2022), Memory Eternal (Oculus, 2023), and an anthology, Deformances as Unlinking (Web, 2024), run workshops, given presentations, and written scholarly papers.
